Task
Golden Gross is a new style jewelry shopping center. There you can find not only high quality jewelry products, but also break areas, coffe points where all the customers can rest and learn something new during specialised workshops.
My task was to make a Minimum Viable Site. The first step was to create a core website and in some time add more functionality to it.
Designer created SVG layout and I started creating primary feature set:
- a list display of shops
- location of every store in a shopping center
- short description with contact information of each shop
- a list of products for every shop
- a page where lessees can send a leasing application
- a page with shopping center description and its photos
- a blog with news and promotions
- Instagram connected to the website
- animated effects and improved UX
- make the site responsive
- Wordpress was chosen as CMS
- user friendly admin page
Solution
The result:
- a website with primary features
- customised admin panel with ability to add and edit goods in the stores
- a map of shopping mall with all the shops and ability to zoom, choose floor, having info window of each shop with the ability to move to their website.
- the location and info of each shop can be changed in the admin panel
- different animated effects were implemented (mobile menu, hover effects, rental application appearance etc)
- user friendly admin panel that meets the requirements of company
